Hr Subject ki percentage alg sy count hogi Overall Percentage matter nahi krti.
Dear student! Overall percentage matter nahi krti aap ky eek subject ki percentage matter krti hai ky kya oss mai percentage achi hai ya nahi or jiss subject ki percentage sai hogi vo passed ho ga or bad wli percentage mai supply ky chances hain. yani aap ko hr subject ki alg sy percentage nikalni hai or phir check krna hai ky passing rule apply hoga ya nahi. [VU 20% Rule ky CASE-4 mai hi bs pass hn skty hn.
VU Rule 20% ky according Mid-Exam ky eek subject mai 35% marks required hn, ossi subject ki assignment/quiz/gdb mai 13% marks required hn or ossi subject ky Final percentage 50% ho then vo subject pass ho ga [ye 20% rule hai].

In Virtual University of Pakistan Marks are calculated according to the grading scheme. Grading scheme is different for different subject and it is available in student's VULMS account in "Course Website" heading against each course.
New Marking Scheme:
You have to score 50% as aggregate in each subject to pass as
Midterm + Academic activities + Final term = 50%
So marking scheme of exams is based on the following rule given below and on the basis of this rule total final grade or CGPA is calculated.
Midterm + [Assignment, Quiz, GDB] + Final term = 50% = Pass
Midterm + [Assignment, Quiz, GDB] + Final term = Less than 50% = Fail
Don't Worry if midterm percentage is below than 20% you are not fail. You can pass your subject by working hard in final term and academic activities. Previous 20% rule is not applicable now.

Also Read:
So according to the new grading scheme of examination, 20% rule has changed now. You have to score 50% as aggregate in each subject to pass.
Grading scheme of vu for all masters degrees or bellow is as follows
Midterm = 35%
Final term = 45%
Academic activities (Assignments + GDBs + Quiz) = 20%
Total 100%
Grading scheme for MS degree is as follows
Mid term = 30%
Final term = 30%
Assignments + Academic term paper = 40%
Total = 100%
The passing criteria or scheme of VU has changed now. According to the new scheme a student must have to appear in the exam for sure. Make sure you don't miss any of your exam otherwise you will get F grade even if you appear in finals (if you missed midterm exam of a particular subject but appeared in final term then there is no chance to pass because you did not appear in midterm so your academic activities and final term will not make any difference and you will get F in the subject) So make sure not to miss any term exam neither midterm nor final-term.
Please note that if you got even 1 mark in midterm in a particular subject then you are pass because midterm result does not decide your grading. Result and grading either pass or fail depends upon aggregate result such as: Midterm + Academic activities + Final term = 50%
If you have got less than 20% in midterm exam then it is no problem you are not fail. There is still a chance to pass the subject by working hard in final term and academic activities i.e assignment, GDB, quiz etc because grade is calculated in totality of midterm, academic activities and final term percentage and your total final grade including midterm, final term and academic activities must be atleast 50% because below 50% is equal to F grade
I hope it is clear now. Don't panic if midterm percentage is below than 20% you are not fail. You can pass your subject by working hard in finalterm and academic activities. Previous 20% rule is not applicable now. It was changed since fall 2013. If you still have any confusion then feel free to ask and post your query here.

Overall percentage matter nahi krti aap ky eek subject ki percentage matter krti hai ky kya oss mai percentage achi hai ya nahi or jiss subject ki percentage sai hogi vo passed ho ga or bad wli percentage mai supply ky chances hain. yani aap ko hr subject ki alg sy percentage nikalni hai or phir check krna hai ky passing rule apply hoga ya nahi. [VU 20% Rule ky CASE-4 mai hi bs pass hn skty hn.

Failed: jin students ny Mid-Exame nahi diye vo Final-Exam mai achi percentage leny ky bavujood Failed hn gy. yani MID Terms Exam Must hn Pass hony ky liye [Mid-Term ki attendance must hai]. OR agr Mid exams mai aap failed hn too Final mai achi percentage ly kr app oss subject ko pass kr skty hn.

but i have question in my mind.
if a student get 9marks out of 39... 9/39 = 24% in midterm
is this 24% will directly add in 15% of Gdb.Quizz,Assignmt to achieve good score?
Or
need to take 35% of 9/39 and then after that % include in Activities & final? ...
Note: (as Assi,Qui,GDB percentage is 15% included) same as (midterm is 35%).
please answer me as soon as possible... i did't get answer of this question from anywhere...

DeleteQuiz ki separate percentage count nahi hogi, Quiz+GDB+Assignment+Midterm=37marks (50%)
Assignment(13%) + Midterm(24%) = 50%(37marks) AND Final(23%) === NetScore(60) menas PASS.
